Les cabines du mirador
We have brought new life to the iconic hotel Le Mirador, a hotel well known by the Boulonnais and which survived the World War II. Originally, its 25 rooms hosted the many English travellers who disembarked in Boulogne-sur-Mer.
Now, we have transformed the hotel into a charming and welcoming aparthotel, offering furnished and fully-equipped apartments that can accommodate up to four guests. Each 40m2 unit has a large kitchen corner, a spacious bathroom and four couchages (queen-sized bed + sofa bed) to ensure confort and autonomy for vacations or business trips.
Our aparthotel is idealy located downtown, nearby main touristic attractions and in a lively area. Any convenience store and parking are within a walking distance. Without vis-à-vis, all our apartments offer an open view on the Marina or the Liane River.
Les Cabines du Mirador’s team is at your disposal to answer your questions and help you with your special requests before and during your stay.
ORIGINS OF THE PROJECT
The building has been bought in 2014 by Edwige and Luc Huyghe. The retired nurse and L’Auberge de l’Etoile’s Chef created La Brasserie Le Nord-Oué. They wanted to offer a cuisine in their image: simple and generous. Bringing local, fresh and well-cooked food, especially fish-based meals, they quickly were accepted by the people of Boulogne-sur-Mer.
Edwige and their son, Maxence, have recently resumed work to transform the accommodation part of the building, After several months of intense work, hundreds of meters cubes of rubble and more than 2100 m2 of spread paints, Les Cabines du Mirador have emerged. The restaurant has been managed by the Chef Guillaume Lengagne, who continues to offer food with the same quality and generosity, with his own personal touch.
